Field Sports and Social Club is a very well used venue due to its flexibility and pricing strategy. Part of a small complex it currently hosts a local sports club with separate changing facilities. Centrally placed in the complex is the members social club and next to that is the function room which is available for hire at very reasonable rates. The function room is big enough to seat at 200 guests easily. It has a large stage area capable of hosting a full band and equipment comfortably. It is raised so that everyone gets a good view, especially when the dedicated stage lights are in use. I imagine the stage could also be used for the top table at a wedding for example. The rest of the function room is very flexible with a neutral colour scheme and plenty of space to play with. It has an area suitable for dancing in front of the stage which can be used for seating instead depending on your event needs. A fully licensed bar is available and is well stocked. The staff are friendly and always very helpful. All things considered you will be under pressure to find a venue quite like this in the central Bradford area. Located just off the ring road and a short drive from the University it is also not too difficult to find. If you're looking for a good sized venue in Bradford which is not draped in glitter and bold colours then this is seriously worth consideration.
