Weddings at Bailbrook House

Bailbrook House Hotel (also previously known as Bailbrook Lodge) is located just a few minutes' drive away from the Georgian city of Bath. This is a charming Grade II listed property set in 20 acres of private grounds providing tranquil and beautiful surroundings - absolutely perfect for wedding photos!

Originally built as a private residence Bailbrook House Hotel is actually made up of two symmetrical 19th-century houses - No.35 (Brook Villa) and No.37 (Watendlath). Though originally intended to be part of a rank of seven houses, the two that make up the hotel today were completed and ready for sale in 1831. The properties have had many uses over the years, including as a private residence, but in the last year or so have undergone a magnificent redevelopment programme involving sympathetic restoration and refurbishment of the original Mansion House whilst Bailbrook Court has been mindfully refurbished to its former 19th century glory.

Bailbrook House Hotel has numerous function rooms to choose from together with ample outside space for team building type activities. They can cater for events, meetings, training programmes and conferences and also have ample free parking available on site, something which is most definitely at a premium in the City of Bath!

We've had the pleasure of visiting this hotel numerous times and it truly is a hidden gem! A highlight of this hotel has to be the food available and in The Cloisters Restaurant they serve modern British cuisine plus you can also enjoy a delicious afternoon tea in one of the Mansion House lounges.

During the refurbishment programme, The Mansion House was reconfigured and now features 13 prestigious bedrooms, three lounges and a conservatory bar plus four executive meeting rooms. Bailbrook Court is immediately adjacent and has 81 bedrooms, The Lansdown Restaurant (for private dining) a training suite featuring six training rooms, boardrooms and syndicate rooms. The largest function room is The Brunel Suite which has a capacity of 160 guests, offers its own entrance and registration foyer plus a ballroom, private bar and atrium area.

Weddings and Civil Partnerships can take place at Bailbrook House Hotel as they hold a license and they offer a number of different packages to suit varying budgets and requirements. For a seated wedding breakfast in The Brunel Suite, 130 guests can be accommodated with space for an additional 30 invited guests to be invited for the evening reception celebrations. The original features and stunning landscaped gardens create beautiful photographic opportunities for the wedding album.
