Weddings at Pavilion Gardens

The Pavilion Gardens is a historic winter garden style selection of buildings, mostly traditionally made from glass along the side overlooking its own promenade and beautiful gardens. There are 2 function rooms. The Octogan is extremely large and has an enormous stage which the Beatles once played on during the 1960s. This venue is used mainly for antique / craft fair events these days but is also available to hire for evening functions, corporate events and Big Band charity balls are its main use. The restaurant is the room most people hire for weddings, birthdays and Christmas parties. It has a nice area for dancing and the food is exceptional, either a sit down meal or a buffet which is served on the balcony above the seating area. Adjoining is a conservatory where couples can marry or the band stand is also available for the same use. There is no shortage of places to take photographs too, even if the day is wet. The conservatory has colourful plants all year round and a fish pond. Also adjoining is the Buxton Opera house - it also is a great back drop for photos what ever the weather!
