Weddings at Viables Community Centre (The Barn)

Viables Community Centre (The Barn) makes a great choice for a low-cost wedding reception in Basingstoke. This type of venue offers you maximum flexibility to plan your celebration your own way, however you will most likely have to take care of many of the arrangements youself, including catering.

Once a farm, the Viables site is an attractive and peaceful haven within the busy town. The halls and rooms we offer for hire were once barns and bull pens, so we can offer an attractive setting for your special occasion - weddings, birthday and anniversary celebrations, and children's parties.

We have two halls and a meeting room for hire - The Barn, the smaller Four Lanes Room and our Education Unit. There's plenty of parking, full disabled provision throughout, and a paddock alongside the facilities that the local council occasionally lets hirers use as well for larger fundraising events.

We're sorry that we do not accept bookings for teenage or 21st birthday parties, however between 9am and 6pm our rate for children's parties (1-13 yrs) is £12 per hour (correct as at August 2009) whether in The Barn or the Four Lanes Room.
