Lots of parking available
You can park quite close to the main doors, just a short walk from unloading to a few steps leading into the clubhouse
Quite a small setup area due to its positioning next to the toilet door but I was able to fit my 4ft stand with 6ft overhead in at an angle (there are some beams on the ceiling which needed me to set up at an angle but this was ok as it meant the rig was facing the centre of the dancefloor)
Very friendly and helpful, lovely people and I was even helped with loading my van at the end of the night!
Parking available for probably 6 or 7 vehicles.
I could park right up to the door which left only a short walk into the hall right by the stage
Large stage
I could park right next to the side door for Charlie's Bar so perfect.
There's a short ramp from the car park to the door of the function room if you need to wheel kit in
There is a ready made DJ booth in the Bar literally a few feet from the door that I loaded into. While normally I have my own deck stand with overhead lighting bar I decided to utilise the booth to set my laptop and mixer in. As this was a daytime children's birthday party I wasn't going to need to set all my lights up so this provided me with a quicker setup time and I placed my speakers and Chauvet GigBar and Kam Parbar either side of the booth, with a Chauvet Intimidator Spot Duo and ADJ Sta
Very friendly and helpful
Plenty of parking outside the building
You can pull up right outside the main doors, from there it's maybe a 20ft walk through a pair of fire doors to the function room
Lots of room to set up at the far end of the function room
On street parking available outside, the venue kindly coned off a space right outside the garage doors for me to park and unload from
The venue kindly supplied a sack truck which was very helpful. Load in through the garage doors then through garage and into rear end of function room. short journey to the edge of the dancefloor where there are a set of about 5 steps down onto it. Either then reload the sack truck or just carry to the front of the dancefloor (which to be honest is probably quicker up to the stage. Bit of a workout if you have lots of kit but it's all pretty straight with no tight corners etc.
Large stage area, they are used to putting bands on here so there is plenty of room
Lovely, really friendly and helpful
Plenty of parking all around the venue
Very easy
Small stage area, not very deep but enough room for all of my kit
Very helpful and friendly
Fine for parking, you can pull up to the doors and then move your vehicle into one of the parking spaces of which there are plenty
No real problems other than club patrons grumbling about the doors being open and letting the cold in and having to sometimes navigate your way around kit bags/chairs etc.
Low stage with pool table and random seating/tables which you'll need to move or work around
Always been very pleasant and helpful
Quite a large car park
You can park quite close to the function room doors but not right outside them
Very large room
There's a few parking spots in front of the club house
You can pull up right outside the back door to the room, there's a tiny little wall to step over but no problem at all and you set up just inside the door
Not huge but a decent amount of space
Absolutely lovely, really helpful and friendly
Plenty Of Parking in adjacent field
Park righrt up to the back of the marquee, not far to carry equipment to dancefloor
Large dancefloor lots of room
Lovely very helpful
Small driveway with room for one vehicle to park just to the side of the front door
Small wooden gate which needs to be propped open otherwise it will eventually close, otherwise it's a short flat journey from the parking space to the hall
Large room, I would usually have set up in the far end pointing down the room but there was a bouncy castle in that position so I set up along the wall underneath the windows
Lovely guy who was in charge or opening up and welcoming the party organisers
Smal amount of parking on site
Short walk through reception area to the hall
Very large hall with lots of room
Plenty of parking around the back of the hall
You can park next to the function room's fire doors to unload into, you will however be blocking access to the car park around the back so will need to move your vehicle swiftly once you've finished so that other users can park. These fire doors are at the opposite end of the hall from the stage so you will have to carry equipment the full length of the hall.
There is a stage which seemed to be quite shallow and was being used as a storage area for stacked tables and chairs so I actually set up in front of the stage.
No staff except for the man who unlocked the venue, he was very friendly and helpfully pointed out electricity outlets, stage curtain mechanism
I was able to drive around the edge of the pitch and park right outside the clubhouse
Can park right up to function room door
Not a bad sized stage in the corner of the room
Very friendly and helpful
Large car park just up the road from the venue
You can reverse up to the end of a bridge/walkway which leads to the terrace outside the function room. It's a short walk and level
Set up in the corner of the room right by the door you load into
Lovely, very friendly and helpful
You can usually find a space on Westgate Street from 6pm, no point getting there any earlier as you can't set up in The Roman Baths before then anyway
Before Christmas 2017 you used to be able to drive along the pedestrianised area in front of Bath Abbey and pull up right outside the Roman Baths which left a short distance to carry equipment into The Reception Hall. However the council put concrete bollards around the Abbey for the Christmas Market - most of which have been removed apart from one which blocks the access to the churchyard for vehicles. This means the best option is to Park on Westgate Street and then carry/trolley your equipmen
Quite a large space in the corner of The Reception Hall
Absolutely brilliant, helpful and friendly I have played here and the adjoining Pump Rooms many times and the staff are lovely
Plenty of Parking outside the venue
You can back up to the front door of the clubhouse then its a short walk through the reception area into the function room, setting up in the far left hand corner of the room
It's a large room but setting up in the corner means you have to be careful not to block the fire doors
Very friendly and helpful
Ample parking outside
There is a parking space next to the Disabled spaces along the side of the venue which gives easy access to the side doors via a small number of steps or a ramp. No problems whatsoever
Very large room, I set up in the far corner opposite the entrance door to the room
Plenty of parking outside the clubhouse
You can park by the side of the clubhouse and then it's a short walk along the front of the building to the door
Quite a small dancefloor but I managed to fit my 4ft stand (with 6ft overhead lighting goalpost) into the corner ok
No issues
A few parking spaces outside the venue
Not far to carry equipment into the venue but there is a self-closing gate that you may want to prop open. Also there was a stair gate type thing inside the door for keeping children in which is a bit of an obstacle which we only realised was easily removed after loading everything in lol
Smallish room
No parking provided by the venue (I think there are small parking spaces around the back of the hotel but apparently they are not suitable for vans). There is a car park just up the road from the venue which was free after 6pm.
Park on double yellow lines by the back gate then a level walk to the venue. You won\'t be able to use a trolley as there are multiple large rubbish and recycling bins along the way bu it\'s not far
If you are just using a laptop and controller there is a DJ booth with a Denon mixer which you can just plug into as you can use the venue\'s sound system (there were a couple of Denon CDJs there too but I didn\'t use them). They do have a small amount of disco lighting but I used my DJ booth with overhead lighting rig which I positioned on the corner of the dance floor in front of the venue\'s DJ booth
I managed to find an on-road parking space near the back of the venue, it is metered until 6pm. Other on-road metered parking is available but I think I got the nearest spot to the back door but if the town is busy you are going to struggle getting anywhere very close. There is a loading bay out the front of the venue, although this was coned off when I arrived but I did use it when packing my equipment away at the end of the night.
The front door is probably the easiest to unload through but might not be possible due to customers. I unloaded through the back door into a narrow corridor then into the pub to the bottom of the stairs. There's one long flight of around 16 steps, then two small flights of about 4 steps each which are both at 90 degrees then into the function room. As I have no roadie this was my gym workout for the day.
Large room where you can set up at either end, I chose the end furthest from the door leading to the bar.
Really friendly and helpful, one of the guys even helped me load my equipment out of the venue at the end of the night which was much appreciated
Largish car park and you can usually get close to the club for unloading
Every time I have played there you have to take your equipment down a narrow path down the side of the club, then in through a narrow door into the kitchen from where there are about 5 steps onto the side of the stage. It's not far but there's about 4 90º turns and a fair chance of losing some skin off your knuckles!
It's a stage, deep enough to get all my equipment on, there's "wings" where you can hide boxes and cases if required. There's also a starcloth type backdrop. The dancefloor does have a mirrorball above it with standard old school spots pointing at it. Stage has some very old-school coloured lights but nothing fancy.
Haven't really had many dealings with them the times I have performed there, always seem pleasant enough
There is a very small parking space right outside the main entrance which I have been able to use the 2 times I have played here since the club was rebuilt. Before the rebuild there was an underground car park which could be used but this has given way to flats now. This new parking space can accommodate 2 vehicles one in front of the other, as long as they are not too long or have a trailer
A bit fiddly as you have to carry equipment past the doors of the downstairs bar/room to unload by the lift which is at the back of the building, or carry up the stairs. Once out of the if the it is a short walk to the large function room
Very large room
Very helpful and friendly staff
